AP reports that LeBron James appeared to practice a golf swing and jump shot before Philadelphia’s season opener while most teammates stood still. On Thursday, Trump demanded an apology to fallen American service members. James had not publicly answered the complaint.

Trump and James have traded criticism for years. This time the president did not need a speech from the athlete. The arms were sufficient.

That should streamline future political commentary. No interview to read, no position to dispute, no policy to answer. Just wait for a shoulder.
